Update Your Skin Care Routine for Fall

Autumn. It's a time of transition, transformation, and letting go. Whether you're bemoaning the end of summer or embracing fall completely, your body knows the seasons are changing and is reacting to the cooler weather. Here are some tips to keep your skin looking (and feeling) its best.

Moisturize your face. If there's only thing you do for your skin, keeping it moisturized is must! Look at the seasonal changes as a sign and make sure you’re moisturizing properly. As the air gets cooler and drier, your skin may start to feel drier, too. The biggest mistake people make is when they choose to moisturize. According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the best time to moisturize is after cleansing, when your skin is wet, as this helps lock in hydration. Follow that with one of our specially blended facial oils -- a few drops will enhance your skin’s own moisture retention and keep it smooth and supple. Exfoliate and moisturize your entire body. As summer draws to a close, your skin needs some help transitioning from heat and humidity to cool, dry, breezy weather.
